I was one of those who had my e-gold account hijacked. The idiot who did it was stupid enough to change my e-mail address to his and rename my account to another name which may be a user name. They also changed my phone number to a free e-fax number.

I have verification of this from e-gold which I will send to bona fide webmasters if you request it (PM or email).

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones as e-gold has referred this to the FBI, and only because the theif gave an e-mail address and a name. E-gold says they don't normally have "stupid theives" to be able to involve law enforcement.

In any event, check your databases for this e-mail address and/or possible user name for funny activity.
