I get pretty discouraged . My husband has not had a regular paycheck since September 26th. I have looking forward to some cashouts so that I can pay some bills . New programs come along ,and people post that they are paid in less than a week ,some within 24 to 36 hours .So I sign up and do my best to get a downline and do my best to stay active and reach cashout . I have reached cashout in several programs this fall, only to be told well we are behind in cashouts , wait 30 days ,wait 60 days, wait 90 days . Trouble is I wonder if it takes that long, if i will ever see a dime. I have other programs this fall that pay me within a day of cashing out , most no longer than a week . Do webmasters really give a darn about any of their members ?

Sorry to hear about your troubles and can see why you are getting discouraged
But yes, there are a lot of us WM's who care very much about our members. Check the praises folder and you will see. There a bunch of WM's who have been around for quite some time.
Good luck to you and I hope things improve for you quickly

I think that everybody who is trying to make some money in the GPTR business is descouraged and concerned by the endless number of scams who are populating the Internet and open websites like Spooky Bucks. It's also very sad when we see programs go down after they've been running very well for a while, like Noeys-Place-Pays or Nile Cash. Places like:
http://www.GetPaidForum.comhttp://www.GPTBoycott.comhttp://TeamWork4Wealth.tripod.comhttp://www.queondamex.comare trying to help honest people involved in this business and one day I am sure that scams will be eradicated if we team up all together against them. Don't give up!

Hi pointsaddict. I certainly hope you do get paid soon. Unfortunately, this business has its ups and downs. I've done a lot of clicking for nothing, too.
It seems that when you join a new program, payouts happen quickly. As the programs get older, payouts take longer but you can usually determine if it's a good program by then. There are some programs that take a long time to pay, but they do come through. Keep your eye out for those ones.
Best wishes.

you know what kills me is you see a site that is paying int 36 hours and you join and the day you cash out they stop paying and jack up their days they are allowed to pay you from 60 to 90 now dont that look like a site that is in trouble and then all of a sudden they ad points to the site!!!!!!!!!! points is one of the first signs that a site is heading for a crash!!!

I don't feel they do care. I understand your situation totaly. We have a toddler, I can't work where we are so Im at home with her, my husband only brings home a lil over $200 a week (we're in Canada btw) and we are not even barely able to make it right now. I requested payout from a bunch of programs only a few have so far paid and I need every cent. My inlaws "gave" us a van for $100 because our last car was not safe any more, well its now 2 weeks 4 days its been in shop and the cost is $1,200 before the 4 winter tires and one spare and that was a deal we were given. Plus we still have to get it plated, the work was to meet the plating requirements, and get insurance on it....then my 12 yr old siamese develops problems and has cost us $180 for 1 hr work at the vets. We have to take him back tomorrow. I havn't bought groceries for us in 2 weeks without a car, its been soups mostly and some friends who were nice enough to bring stuff over for dinner.
I don't think the owners of these programs realise that tho some memebers might be at it to have a few extra bucks to buy something nice for themselves, others are doing these programs just to survive, so that maybe for one month we can not have a collector calling, or maybe we can buy some nice food at the grocery store (ever notice its far cheeper to eat junk then healthy stuff). I think owners have to consider the people like you and I a little more, the ones who rely on getting the payout and who are not in this because we want to be but because we have to be.
I'm really sorry for the situation your going thru, and hope you start getting payout soon.

Some do care but I feel a lot of them don't. It is not always the waiting it's their attitude too. I've been waiting for a payout with Mike's for a long time, but both Mike and Traci have contacted me about it and tried to find a solution, offered me other ways to get paid. Well it was my choice to wait for the Paypal option so I won't complain on that.
Others just don't respond or explode when you dare say something about that in the forum (I guess you all know now to who I am pointing at) and punish you for posting.
I do understand it's hard sometimes and they have a life outside but they should have thought about that, they are running a business for god sake, any other business in the real world wouldn't survive with this attitude.
And what really makes me sick is when they are nagging and whining about members that don't buy ads. It is their business to find advertizers, not ours. I do buy a lot to promote but that I only do with programs I trust, that paid me. But If I wouldn't I should not be punished for that. They want you to sign up and promise you to get paid, never I saw a program that's says: sign up, maybe I'll pay you but to be a good member you have to buy ads.
Here's what Colleen posted on my complaint that I'm waiting so long for my 5 bucks
| QUOTE |
| As for your payment...Hold your breath, I don't see you buying any ads to generate income for the site. And by ALL means unsubscribe, PMI will do more than fine without you. |
Tssssssss
They all say, sign up, make money, earn a lot here, good earnings, etc. Well that's why you sign up in the first place. And for that matter, I have to earn first before I can spend it don't I? Colleen has never paid me a dime and I'm a member for as long as she owns the site (and even before that) so if one can count one can imagine I must have redeemed for ads....
And last but not least, why do wm buy a site that is in debt and then start complaining about their difficulties. A site that is bankrupt will cost a lot of work and money to get it healthy again, don't buy it if you can't or won't handle that, start a new one instead.
And Pointsaddict I hope you will get your money soon, don't give up, there are a lot of programs that are good and a lot of wm that do care and do pay. In the end honesty will survive and I know it is hard working but in the end you manage to get a list of all the good ones and get a monthly (extra) income out of that.

There are many webmasters who DO care

We do pay within our terms and we care what our members think. I know it can be discouraging, but hang in there.

Not all sites that have points are bad. Some are great. There is one that I use for advertising because there is no cash option. But amys has 2500 points = 1.50. So points dont necessarily mean the site is going to crash. It sometimes is a good thing.
But onto topic. I know what you mean. But there are a lot of great programs that do pay and continue to pay regularly. But people seem to avoid them like they have the plauge or something. Everyone wants HUGE ref % and giant sign up bonus's and super super cheap advertising. Thats what hurts a lot of the sights with good intentions.

There is a lot of money you can earn, there are a lot of good programs here. It depends on how hard you are willing to work for. Don't let scams dissapoint you too much in the end they won't last.
How many programs are you in?

I'd be more than happy to look at the sites your in and tell you which one's are not good on paying and which sites I personally recommend as being fast paying sites. Just pm me if you would like to discuss it

To those that have the extreme troubles, my heart goes out to you. But, this is a business after all, and just like in the real world, they can't go on a person to person basis to get paid. And before anyone runs to chop my neck off, I'm a college student. I have no family, and belong to the State of Maryland until the age of 21, that's one more year. After that I am homeless. I do not have the hours or transportation or even physcial ability for most normal jobs. You'd think I would be on people's sides that were looking for help, but no. It's a business and everyone has to be treated the same or they might as well throw the TOSes out the window and go grab you by the hand and empty out their pockets...
Sorry lady and everyone else, but life isn't easy, roses, or peaches.... it's a rocky road, and for a 19, almost 20year old to say that and know it, that tells you more than enough... I try everything under the sun to make money. I belong or have belonged to at least 65% of the paid-to sites online, sometimes to succeed you have to work your butt off....

Well I have to say I disagree with you, its not a business because some wms don't treat it like a buiness. In a business your staff, including freelancers, get paid for their work, usually in a timely manner. The main complaint this post was about was NOT getting paid for work. We are not complaining about not getting extra help. In fact I don't think we expected it. What we DO expect is to be paid for our time and thats not happening in many many many programs. They are eating the choclate bar at the store and paying for it later. What sucks about this is that we are the ones wasting our time. If you add it up and are playing by the rules, and you click on a 1/4 cent link then wait for a 20 sec timer and are doing that for an average of an hour, well your not even close to making min wage for that hour. We choose to do this, yes, but we do it because we are SUPPOSED to be paid. If a WM dosn't pay their host then they loose their site, if they don't pay their electricity it will be cut. So what makes WMs like that think that we are any different. Yes there are a lot of people in these programs just for extra spend money, but then there are the group who do this because we have no other resource.
I'm only 25 and I know life's hard, I don't moan and whine about it, I get mad and try to let that anger help me deal with things. I'm sorry for you in your situation, its obviously made you bitter because of the way you came across in your message. I hope something good happens to you to change your outlook slightly. Only society makes life difficult, in general life is actually wonderful.
