Our new product is going to be launching within the next few days.

This product will allow you to give us an IP address, and we will respond with the country of that IP, and if the IP is from an anonymous/open proxy. This service will run in real time, as your user registers, or clicks, or requests payout, etc.

At this time, we are looking for a couple of webmasters to implement it on their systems on a test basis.

To work with us, you must have a fair amount of traffic (at least 100-200 visitors an hour) and you must be able to program in the language your site is written in. Minimal programming is involved.

Once the system is completed, we will be providing ready made scripts for most commercial GPTR and search engines out there so that the PO's can use the script without programming.

If you are interested in helping, please PM me with the following details:
- your site URL
- how many visitors you receive
- how you will use this system

Thanks!

Hi Martin, definitely count me in.

My site has enough traffic to "stress test your system"! wink.gif

PM and let me know what I need to do.

Thanks!

Oops, just read the PM part...I will send that now.

I'd do it, but I'm programming deficient. ph34r.gif

Hya,

I had a few questions because this tool seems interesting but I don't understand how it can be used practically.

Mind you, am not techie at all ..so please try to reply with babywords wink.gif

- When it is launched, will it allow people to just put the ip numbers in a little box on their site and then have result or how does it practically work ?

- if I send a search ad ... will the script see if an open proxy clicks on it ... ?
Or for click on searches, to be valid ? I have search engines not allowing me to search saying they don't allow proxies but mine is a good one (again, me not techie so made it check by 2 clever people in search engine world) ... can your script help search engine webmasters to allow searches from everyone but open proxies ?

Is all ... for now wink.gif

Actually, practicality is one thing this tool will bring to the industry to deter cheaters. Up until now the only way to check for open proxies is to do a manual search of an IP address you suspect. Very time consuming and open to human error.

Yes, our tool will have a 'manual' box where you can but and paste a list of IP addresses, and the system will check each one as an open proxy and tell what country it belongs to at the rate of about twenty/second. This will be provided as a 'secondary' means of validation if you want to check addresses that were used before you put the tool in place on your system.

But the real value of this tool comes in it's ability to give you this information 'real time'. That means the system can flag or reject an open proxy as the click or search is being made, rather than you having to go through logs later.

So to answer your question - a search engine using this tool would instantly be able to tell if you are using an open proxy, and what country you are coming from. A PO using this tool would be able to automatically disqualify a PTR click if the click came from an open proxy or a country not in their accepted list. There would be no more need for POs to manually parse logs.

A PO could even go so far as to reject any PTR click or search done in a country not equal to the country the user signed up in! This would be an end to the cheating done by getting a friend in the US to create your account, then clicking away from a banned country.

Our prices are as low as 7 cents per thousand queries. That is a very good price when you consider all the time you will save as well as the money you will keep now that cheaters are no longer able to hide.

I hope this answers your questions!

Ah thanks, even I could understand that .. so I hope some search engine webmasters will use a tool like that, I have to often that I can't search or that the searches can't be made for me because the webmasters disallow ALL proxies, even the good ones and it makes us all lose money.

Now they won't have any reason to do so anymore smile.gif

Moving this to Programme owners public forum as I think the POs are probably the ones interested by this.

mlawrence:

what is your product?
is it a script?

if so what language it is programmer in and what database you use to find country from ip ?

is it like ip-country where it needs to update day by day/.?

bye

Eliminator,

It is a service that you will be able to query with an IP address to receive the country the IP address is from. It will work with any language and any database system since all you will need to do is send/receive data.

IP's change on a regular basis, and open proxies change daily. Our system auto updates to keep current.

mlawrence : if its a service.. when we use it in our scripts.. your server must be always online
with proper security since we provide you with ips..
and it should be faster one ..
does your service meet these requirments and do you have a backup server which will provide even when the other one is offline

I've built websites that can handle 100 searches/second and am familiar with the dynamics of web services. smile.gif
