What does it take to start your own search engine? How hard is it? How do you get started? Where do you get advertisers from? Can you buy/get the code for the search engines anywhere? Any other info can you provide me?

Thanks!

You basically need a good server, a good script, and some money. Take a look at getpaidsolutions (dot) com to se some of the plans they are offering for you to start your own search engine.

and plenty of money for the script upgrades,

okay....thanks but...

1. Is there any other places where I can lease these scripts instead of buying them?

2. Is getpaidsoultions.com a good place to buy from?

3. Where do I get feeds from?

4. What are the best places to get feeds from?

5. What are the usual experiences with starting a new search?

6. Where do most people run into problems? No enough money? Bad feeds?

7. Anyone know someone that wouldn't mind kinda "mentoring me" or showing me the ropes?

Thanks a lot!

I don't think you can lease scripts, and you'll need a good one. There are many places to get feeds, some are reliable, others aren't.
The biggest problems your going to run into are
A) not having enough money because a feed scams you and you have to shut down and are in debt
cool.gif Low bids, noone likes thoughs
C) Script Errors
D) Hackers
E) Cheaters such as people search with proxies and then you getting deleted by feeds
F) DownTime
G) And More

Djump2It
GoFeed
