The plans for the Get Paid Convention are moving ahead full force. The focus remains on the Get paid to programs as well as other home-based business and support industries, who all need what we do best! Inexpensive advertising.
Our industry has taken a black eye recently with programs folding or disappearing and databases being lost. Accidentally or on purpose.
One of the things we hope to establish during this convention is a committee or task force to study problems and set guidelines for review. These guidelines will be for the existing PTR programs as well as for new owners. This is for us as well as new program owners.
Much time is spent on cheaters. I believe there needs to be a better communications to prevent cheaters moving from program to program unchecked. This is a very real and important issue for us all. We need to set aside personal issues and deal with facts. By doing this we can make a big improvement in our industry as well as to out support industries. This will attract more advertising dollars for us all.
A great amount of time and effort is being spent in the hope that we can make our industry better for webmasters, members and advertisers. However this convention can not happen without your assistance in many areas so we are making a plea with all of you for assistance with this project.
We have seminars with no speaker, i.e.: Writing Great Ad Copy, and Great Revenue Sources. We have several other employment opportunities listed at the website which we hope will be of assistance to some. We will need ad swaps and advertising of the convention. Last but far from being least we need as many program owners and managers as possible to attend the Special meeting where we hope to develop the task force and or committee to work on setting standards for our industry. Improving communication and team work between all program owners regardless of personalities is a must for this to succeed.
