I know many people cannot see this but many of you have probably seen CopperCoins.net being advertised for signing up before it launches by Mec-co-op-paidmail.
They claim to be doing this so that people can get a head start on the CAC webmaster........ya right.
The only reason they're doing this is because by the time they launch tomorrow they will probably have about 2,000 to 3,000 members.
Okay so you're all saying so what. Here's the thing, this makes it so that since about 3000 people will have signed up with no referrer their will be no considerably large downlines in the program.
I know this may be a little difficult to understand, but I think most of you will get my point.
This is an extremely unfair business tactic.

Click4Cents was the same way, there website was up forever, with 127 members, butt there was no signup page, once it finally launched, all the webmasters sent out their referral links and i couldnt get too many referrals. :frown:
oh well.

It maybe an unfair business tactic, and I think it is.
But if the webmaster can get as many members to sign up as possible first, without getting any referrals, then think about it. Less people referred = less payout the webmaster has to give due to referral earnings.
Unfair.. but very clever and obviously out to save money.

Yes, very true, but not fair to the members at all.

Well, getting alerts from Frank is only slightly better.
We need to have ethics as webmasters. I don't know why so many people do not. I have made mistakes - I told a member I would promote her cashPO link for her for free and then the next day I got paid by them and I forgot in my excitement. That certainly looked VERY suspicious to her, but it was an honest mistake. I just completely forgot. She didn't realize that I have a HUGE list of links to promote for people for free out of kindness, and I just plain ol' forgot.
Well, I made amends as best I could and I think she is happy now, but I still feel bad.
When we compromise our ethics like that, we damage our reputations, our personal integrity, and the confidence of our members. This IS a serious business. We DO affect people's daily lives, and we SHOULD be more careful. Yes, we are all human, I think anyone who gets an email from me with all the messed up links can see that... lol! But getting ourselves back on the right path after we make mistakes, errors in judgement, or purposefully do something wrong (I have) is crucial.

Um, TJ, had you signed up under me that wouldn't have happened. We could have worked out that you and Lynda could have signed up under me, then I would have run a link for one of you (probably her since I promised her first) and we all would have benefited.

I don't understand everything in this thread....so, CACwebmasters think it's fair they flood the market with their links when a new site launches and they know it before everybody but they don't think it's fair if a webmaster gives to her members the same possibilities as the CACwebmasters have....
Then suddenly the average member could not build a downline anymore..... ? Unless you are like some very hard workers, you can't anyway...so, why bother and jump accusing other webmaster of being unfair over all the forums on the internet ?

Sophieca, read my post.
No it isn't fair for CAC webmasters to do it, either, but you can go to
www.createaclick.com and see their new program list, too.
The unethical part of what happened was that she was telling MANY PEOPLE that they would be the ones to get the jump on the other ones. She told a LOT of people WAY before her members. That wasn't right. She had too many irons in the fire.
As if anyone is going to turn down an advantage that will earn them money!!
And, if a person isn't going to be one of those very hard workers, well, then why are they here?

Yes, you've got my point Brenda
Also, if you didn't know already, CAC has the new program alert program that ANYONE can download for free.

I thought that it was not allowed to be promoted until it was offically launched or has that rule gone. It was the rule when i got my site.
If that is true aren't they breaking a term of the agreement with Create-A-Click.
Let me know if i am right or not
thanks

Chris I agree with you, I have to say it is really strange to me I have several websites and am in several top 50 sites etc. I immediately changed the text in some of them telling them Coppercoins has just launched, I don't have any referral yet and usually by now I have several, although I never looked at it that way, she saves money because people have no/less referrals.
