my mom is also in the area, my thoughts are with everyone out there, and i am praying that she and her neighbors like terri will all be ok!!

If she is in San Diego county, please have her get in contact with me. I am also here, but my house is in no danger.
I want to share with all of you what our sky looked like today. This picture was taken at 2:30 this afternoon. I woke up this morning and there was ash everywhere.

Hey Bankers,
Just a quick note to let you know (if you haven't already heard) There is a HUGE fire in California. Well, specifically, it is burning about 1/2 mile from my home (EL CAJON). We came back home when the winds died down. However, the winds are picking back up again, and may be evacuated if the fire jumps 1 more ridge.
I don't really have time to respond to anyone at this moment. We have been packed and my second priority (my family being the first) was to let you know personally that I am ok right now. It is 6:00a.m. Monday morning here right now. Needless to say, we have had NO SLEEP for the past 12 hours that the fire has been right behind us. Its been buring in San Diego since 10:00pm Friday Night.
Thank you all for your support. If it's one thing I hate it's a fire. I am scared to death right now.
Thank you Colleen and everyone else who have been calling!!! Please, everyone else, spread the word as much as you can for me!! We are doing our best to stay safe, but if any of you know San Diego (specifically EL CAJON), we have fire all around us. NO freeway in or out....
