I often get dead ends when I do searches or am told I've maxed my searches for that day. Or they can't find what I am looking for. Sounds like you'll be better off without this program. |

So please continue support our advertisers! Show us your active, make more advertisers come back! To the searchers who faithfully do the valid searches: One issue that I have come across recently is that the many sites that I belong to require about 200+ searches daily. Now if you do the math between all available pay per whatever search engines, there is a problem. In the terms of most of the engines, it blatantly states in some form or another that a fixed number of searches are alloted to each IP address. And recently, I have been getting messages stating that I am over the alloted feeds per day. So I have started cutting and pasting these messages for both my and admin's benefit so that they get off of my back. Yes, advertisers will come back if their stat sheets aren't registering tons of clicks, bots, and the like. My stat sheets are a disgrace (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ticked.gif) and I want to know what the benefit is of turing numbers when bots still get through!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wallbash.gif) The moral of the story is to protect yourself because some of the paid to read's probably won't back you if you go down for fraud or anything like that. And there are a ton that do not require searches, as I have found out the hard way!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dirol.gif) |

Anyone know who the WM of the site is???? Maybe we should warn users about him/her
I too got the same email and this was my reply to them QUOTE [indent]How is this not forced searches? I thought we were paid to read email not paid to perform searches and participate in click fraud. If we are only paid when we participate in click fraud then maybe you should clearly state that on the home page of your website and in your terms of service, but your site claerly says paid to read email which I did. I read the email and visited the sites that the links gave me. NO I did not do 100% valid searches because at least 50% of your search engine yeild little or very poor results and some of the pages brought up no site at all. I hope you site fails miserably and I plan to post this email on every forum about ptr availabel so that no one who wishes to be forced to search will join your site.[indent] Some people are saying that we shouldn't request searches if we don't intend to do a valid search on every email. Who really needs to serch 300-500 times a day? Granted some of us let them stack up and delete 1/2 or more without ever clicking the links and we gather our list of what we a searching for when we do actually do the searches. There are so many factors that influence why your valid searches may not be 100% or even 80% including all of the above in the previous posts, and many many others. I just dont understand why there are so many supporters of sites like this who are clearly breaking the law (for those of you who live in the USA click fraud is against the law in 22 states possibly more now) What is the general feeling on this? Should you be requesting searches if you aren't searching? Should members be forced to search or should it be their choice? I personally thought we were being paid to read our email, not paid to perform and it was our choice whether we searched or not. Anyway I am so fed up with sites like this, I have quit all of them. Because of all this debatemany have said that ubiz and its sites have changed their attitude about valid searches and lost many ads. I say good for them at least they're keeping the programs honest now (no click fraud, members choice to search). I could go on and on abou thtis topic so I will quit for now and let others put in their 2 cents worth |

Guys I checked the profile page and if you have a look you will see it has a check box for searches and if you have that checked doesn't that mean you have agreed to do searches...
I am not trying to take sides but it is just something I noticed |

I got the same email from ReadRevenue. Verrrrry aggravating. Got out of that program immediately. And I do most of the searches, so that is definitely not the reason. They just seem to not want to pay. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

This is all a bit unsettling. I've gotten paid twice by ReadRevenue and thought they were pretty good, but now I wonder. I get plenty of dead links and "too many clicks messages" too, so maybe they'll pull the rug out from under me yet.
I'm undecided about the whole click fraud thing. I posted my question about it in another thread, but I'll go ahead and post it here too. Why would people pay money for these no-name search engines to promote their web sites? Why not advetise with search engines people actually use, like google? |

When I get a dead link or "too many clicks messages", I click the back button and choose another link. I do this 3 max. If nothing I just let the timer run out. 90 - 95% of the time this works out. I got paid 2-3 weeks ago by them without any problems with a chargeback. I'm happy. |
