I use kaspersky anti virus , and I am very happy about it.
Of course you should protect your computer with a firewall and antispyware software as well. This is what I use: -kaspersky -ez firewall -firefox with noscript and adblock extensions -spywareblaster -spybot s&d ( great immunizer ) -adaware , for spyware scan With all this installed , I have a great protection and I never encounter any problems. The kaspersky anti virus is great because it doesn't use to much ram and cpu, but still has a great protection. |

Besides anti-virus you need some good spyware and malware programs. Look up the free Microsoft antispyware. Look up ewido for malware.

Avast is the best free antivirus out there. As good as if not better than commercial AVs.

Kaspersky is probably the best. Although I don't believe it's free if you want updates.
